BLPAPA's Bayanihan Festival is a vibrant celebration dedicated to honoring and showcasing Filipino and Filipino-American culture. The festival highlights the rich traditions of the Philippines through a diverse array of activities, including performances by local artists, traditional Philippine folk dances and music, and sometimes, appearances by well-known, larger Filipino artists. It also supports and promotes Filipino-owned businesses, creating a platform for them to connect with the community. A key focus of the festival is engaging the youth, aiming to strengthen their connection to Filipino heritage and combat the erosion of cultural identity. Overall, the Bayanihan Festival is a joyous occasion that fosters cultural pride, unity, and understanding.
